About an inch of snowfoam then top up with warm water.

I don't usually add anything else.

i put about an inch of snowfoam, which works spot on

but i have found that you put just a little squirt of shampoo in it is a lot thicker and hangs around alot longer

i put a squirt of chemical guys maxi suds in, you cant see the colour of car underneath it all, very good!

all the old boys that live near us, look and laugh and say "i think youve used too much on that son"

Not for me. Some people add Shampoo so you could try that if just the SF is not giving you the results you want.

Definitely use warm water though. That does make a difference.

    edit: as above. lol

I usually rinse the car first so the panels are wet, then snow foam, wheels, wash, polish, wax

As Grimo said, about an inch in the bottle and as Steve said, top up with warm water.

I also add a little squirt of shampoo to the mix as it thickens it up.

Before applying, pressure wash off as much of the grime as you can, but not too close to the bodywork or you'll remove your wax/polish. Aim the jet at about a 45 degree angle so that your not blasting the grit into the paint.

As mine is black, i do the above and apply the snow foam, leaving it to dwell for about 10-15 mins. Pressure wash it off and do the snow foam again, leaving for another 10-15 mins before washing off. Then wash it using the 2 bucket method and a lambs wool mitt. If you've recently waxed it then a quick spray of quick detailer and job done.

    HTH.
