    Default V6 Diesel Service

Perry's called me today,to say that they'll service (full) my V6 CDTI for £150!

Now bearing in mind the price of things like oil filters and oil for this engine,do you think it's a good deal.

Also they'll 'throw in' a courtesy car!

Car has to be serviced by VAT registered garage to validate warranty-I should add.

Yeah, the filter is £40-odd on it's own.

Seems too good to be true, but that's what they said, and I even had them confirm that they knew what car they would be servicing.

I think it needs around 7 litres of engine oil as well!

Was that for 5W-30 oil though? Worth checking it wasn't their cheap 10W-40.

Other then the oil/filter, what else are they doing for that price?

It's a full service,so it will include all the other filters as well.Plus courtesy car for free.

It also has to go in for the handbrake recall,so it's two birds with one stone really.

My local garage charged £100 + last year just to change the oil and filter. He said it was the most expensive f*****g oil change he'd ever done! LOL

If that's 5W-30 oil, filter, air filter and pollen filter(?) then bite their hands off. Parts alone would cost you over £100 at retail.
