I don't have Sat Nav in the car

I pull it out from the side of the radio, would it be anything to do with phone car kits??

I have no real idea, as said above it could be to do with certain screens, or maybe at a guess it could be a pickup point for climate control air quality sensors, try to trace where it goes, if it goes to a biggish unit behind the glovebox (if they still look like that and its in the usual location) that looks like a big heat sink, that will be the regulator for the heating.

Looks like the phone input cable to me, i installed a blue tooth kit in mine and the cable looks remarkably like that, but i only took of the glove box to get to it. cant think why you have taken half the interior out, but hats off.

Was looking to see how difficult it would be to install a new screen.

Haven't installed a new one yet. Don't know which route to go down. I think that there are plenty of aftermarket screens that will fit in the hole and would look pretty good. The only thing is I would loose the fuel computer, but more importantly loose the climate control settings.

Not too sure if an upgrade to a vx colour screen would work either as i never had the Sat Nav option.

Still pondering over different ideas at the mo
