    Default Delivery mode...?

If a display, CID, has been tech2 unpaired from the stereo unit, does that mean its in delivery mode and will be just plug and play and it'll know what to do? Or will I need to have it paired by VX and my old one removed? I just want to know before I start ripping my car apart. LOL.

Also, whats the chances of me actually having the RGB(?) connector on my dash loom, hit and miss? And does anyone have a picture of it?

    Cheers again!

If the display has been unpaired from the head unit it will need a Tech 2 to pair it again to your head unit.

I'm sure that only applied to the full-CanBus setups though. What head units are we talking about? With yours being an 04 it's going to have the units that I didn't think needed any of that - could be wrong though.

Believe so as we need a code, where as full has no code because they are paired.

As far as I can work out, as long as you have the same paired screen it should work in a new car, but you wont be able to add any extra features... Maybe wrong.
