    Default Passenger wiper DEAD!

Wiper stopped working on passenger side this morning

I assume its the wiper linkage.

Can anyone tell me what to look for before I start removing the water deflector?

    Thanks.

Does the wiper arm move " by hand" if you move it yourself. ? If it does I would say the limkage has come apart or broken.

What? How is that going to work if the linkage is dead???

It will be gone on the drivers side, you will see where the linkage has come apart. Just get a new linkage from the dealer, you 100% do not need the motor but they will tell you that you do Assuming that it is the linkage of course

what i meant was maybe its the splines that have gone and you CAN solve that with torquing it down hopefully i wont get shot down this time, remember guys this place is a forum where opinions are asked. if you dont understand my opinion ask me to explain it dont just shoot me down please

I wouldn't say that Big Sig was shooting you down, merely wondering what you meant/asking you to explain further.

It 'may' be that the splines have just slipped and tightening it down will help, but it's more likely to be the linkage given it's well documented problems.
