From what I saw not very impressive. Typical "Top gear" type of stuff.
The piece started well with a good set of products then died after the appication. Shame it looked promising.
I never saw it Steve. Were there any conclusions?
10 Products on one panel of a car, From Turtle wax through NXT to 1500 pound Swisswax and Zymol and two specialised protection applications (Glareuk and G technic).
Gloss was measured and all gave round a score of 90 on their gizmo (A gloss meter )
Then the car was blasted with a fire hose, Gritting Lorry and a flame thrower Left for a week and re tested. Sadly the results were very shallow
Conclusions....Erm....Expensive wax was expensive and good. One cheaper product came out well but the results were hardly scientific. It wasn't a product I've heard of. Fareclare (?) Wax Top. You can watch it here:

Seen the Gloss meter before. It was used to demonstate how much gloss was lost when a particular wax was applied but the difference was not worth the entry money.
I watched the clip and it all got a bit confusing. Polishes being compared to waxes?
Farecla range is used in Body Shops and is a very good product. The area Rep demonstrated it at AB last year. He referred to it as Mopping.
Think I prefer Iain's mega wax test on DW. They should have just asked him. As Colly 915 was still there (along with half a dozen others including the one they used on Fifth Gear) after six months !!!!! I'll stick with that.
