    Default Regal re-map

Just been on the Regal website there looking at engine software.

    http://www.regal-shop.co.uk/cgi-bin/...html&NOLOGIN=1

Pretty awesome figures. Anybody got one?

By the way, 325lbsft is 440Nm!

Hope the link works out! I'm not a computer whizz!!

    No linky.

    Is the 325 lb-ft for the 1.9 ?

Very optimistic IMO.But it's all part of the 'game' of improving sales in a depressed market.

If that is for the 1.9 i don't think i would want it. Apparently anything above 300 would really start to put some strain on the clutch and gearbox.

Regal are well known to over exaggerate the figures. Pinch of salt mate, its how it drives that matters.

Yeah, sorry, it was for the 1.9cdti 16v 150.

No doubt is is an exaggeration (I'm sure my spelling is getting worse!!), I'm sure most of them are!!

Just wanted to know if anybody had one really. I'm in the market and intend to go to MPG for the eds remap he does there, just want to research it a bit as £500 is a lot for any man!!

I told you matey that you can have a ride to see what you think before you buy it and mines an auto so its a bit slower so a manual will really be quick. The 190 NO EGR is the one to have and I expect that there isnt many people on here that has got that one. Its not as high a BHP as the top one but has a lot more torque and it really does show

I have the IPF unit. Does what it say's on the tin but support is really poor. The additional features they had sold the unit with do not exist. Also they fail to mention that there software only works on windows XP, with total exposure to the web (no firewall and must be on DMZ) They are trying the "what extra features" game with me. The only for then is that i have the web page from i brought the unit and it clearly states fault reporting etc....
