Washing machine

Well last night our 7 year old washing machine died in a big way!! massive drum bearing failure wrecking the rubber seal.
So i'm gonna bite the bullet and buy another one.
Two question, can i transport a washing machine in a vectra hatchback, as in will it fit?? and secondly any recommendation what to buy with a budget of about £280.

I would have thought it would fit (just helped someone get a w/mc out of a peugeot 206!).

The one thing that my w/mc has that I would never now be without is a delay start/timer feature - set it the night before to wash at 6am, and then its done when you get up!

I personally dont think a new boxed washing machine will fit . Its the slope on the roof that you may find problems with .

Used to fit in a Cav....... not tried one in the Vectra yet

if u buy from currys or comet etc u will find that delivery... and yes the delivery charge is mandatory!!!

Well if your in Plymouth anywayz lol.

You can always just tie the boot down with rope if it wont close etc!

Yep, it does fit a standard size washing machine with packaging, as I had to do this about 3 or 4 months ago.
