    Default Smoothing the vec C

Has anyone removed the rub strips from the vec C? If so any pics? Also is it possible to get rid of the griffin on the boot and the chrome strip on the boot?

When removing these items does it leave holes in the bodywork or are they jus stuck on?

    Thanks tom

You mean the rub strips on the doors? I think there are a few holes in the door that they pop into to line up, then stuck down. (I think, thats what I was told when I had my passengers side repainted after some kind person drove off... but I'm not bitter) Might be wrong. The griffin etc, not sure about the chrome strip, just peel off, just get a old creditcard type thing and slide it off from behind, then some say to use a hair dryer to get the sticky stuff left behind off.

Yep, there are a couple of locating holes in the door for the lugs on the strips.
