    Default Best Place to get an EGR valve for CDTi 150...

    My car is showing the classic symptoms now

    Where's the best place to get an EGR valve for the 150 CDTi in terms of price and promptness of delivery... cheers guys.

    Have a check on Ebay mate. Make sure it's standard GM part though. If nought there then i'm afriad Vauxhall is last option.

    Not too hard to clean mate, a £5 can of carb cleaner from Halfrauds and an hours time. A few bolts, disconnect it, spray, wait, wipe, spray more, wait more, wipe more. Dry it refit and away. Honestly not a hard job.

    i have got the same problem at the min,however off in to garage moro at 8.00am sharp,they say it will take 1.30hrs to do cost £40-£60,not worth getting hands dirty,mines a 120bhp,

    Would a Saab one be ok for the Vec (same engine pretty much) like this one.... .

    Also, is this the right one for the 16v CDTi..??

    EDTI: The Saab EGR valve says its a "updated design" would this help in the future..??

    That one for the Zaffy looks like the right one but I think Autovaux do them cheaper.

    Give them a call mate.01924 376003

    A lot of members on here use them, me included and the service is second to none.
