    Default Best wax for silver

Went to wax the car today after washing and found the tin empty
So i gotta order some more. Just want some advice on which is the best to use on silver paintwork. Have a budget of about £30.
I have currently been using MEGUIARS MIRROR GLAZE 26 HI-TECH YELLOW WAX which has been quite good but as i'm a newbie to detailing i was wondering if there was better stuff for silver for around the same price.

Collinite 915 for around the £21-25 pound mark is your best bet available on line from elite or shinearama but look around some of them are doing deals at the moment

I use both of them too. But I do really like Victoria Concours Wax in the summer too. It gives my motor a real nice shine, another good on for a brilliant shine is P21S. If you don,t mind waxing your car every couple of three weeks as it doen,t last as long as the collinite or the Victoria wax.

Personaly I would just wash your motor and put the "new" wax on top. But if there are any swirl marks or scratch,s then polish it first to remove the marks, that will in it,s self remove the "old" wax.

I not sure if it would matter but it wouldnt harm to strip the old stuff off and while you are at it you might aswell clay the car as it will give a far better finish
