Default 3.2 V6 MPG and MPH

I've averaged 25MPG and 35MPH in 17K just wondering how this compares to the other GSI's out there.

I take it you've never reset the OBC in order to give us these stats?

    Coughs!!!

You been getting 14 on the urban, and 25-28 on the motorway, deny it and I wont speak to you again.

To all others, dont post bull figures, ppl read this as a guide, if you send them to the dealer and they buy only to find it does lousy mpg you have tricked these ppl, be honest, no 2.0+ petrol engine does any more than 22 mpg on urban regardless of the marque.

    Slow down V.V.

He said he was AVERAGING 25 mpg over the last 17 thousand miles..Not claiming a new record..

    With no bull..

My Gsi average's 14-16 mpg round town and will sit showing 30-35 mpg on the m-way..it's usual home.

My GSi auto has returned 29mpg average / 30mph average speed over about 12K miles. This is a mixture of Mway and urban. Was pleasantly surprised by the 'C' not using much more (if any) than my previous 2.5 and 2.6 V6's.

My 3.2 V6 averages 22-23 mpg around town on a run I can get about 32 mpg at about 70mph. I will have to leave the "meter" set for for a while to see what the over all average is.

Just to clarify the bulk of the 17K is motorway cruising, round town I would guess low 20s depending on the weight of my right foot.

VV, I never said 25MPG urban driving, plus 35MPH average for urban driving would be mighty impressive and probably no more license!!!!!!!

I haven't reset for around 5 - 6,000 miles now and my average is 27.9mpg. I would say that 70% is motorway/dual carraige way and the rest round about the town.

Yeah sorry, my blurry eyes didn't read it right, the average speed is right 30mph is the reading you get for motorway and dual carraigeway driving, mine never goes above 14 tops.
