    confused Mis-Fire Low revs

My vectra 1.8ls 2003 today began to misfire at low revs. the engine management light came on. it seems to clear as the revs increase. it is noticeable that if you are in traffic or stationary, the longer you leave the engine idling, the worse the misfire becomes.

i also noticed that if you stamp on the throttle the mis-fire seems even worse.

Any ideas would be greatfully recieved!!!
