    Default Types of Tyres.

    Hi ladies n Gents!

    Ive got 3 Goodyear Eagle NCT 5's on my motor..

    and one

    Bridgestone N300 on the rear drivers corner. is it ok to have a complety different tyre on one corner???

    Yes as far as I'm aware thats perfectly legal, may affect the handling/braking if one is new & the other well on its way out

    I was more worried about the effects on handling etc.... ive just looked at the price of each tyre and i can see why they got the bridgestone..... £30 cheaper lol

    I believe you have to, by law, have the same size and profile on the same axle, but not necessarily the exact same tyre - although it's obviously preferable to have matching tyres on the same axle so that tread and grip properties are the same.
