Fuel consumpton official figures of a 1.9 vs a 3.0 CDTi auto

So the 6 pot is better on fuel under mixed conditions, down 2 mpg in town and 1 mpg overall, so in the real world how do these figures stack up, so if owners could post figures along with the average speed reading as well I can take a look at it and compare and conclude, state if you are a 4 or 6 cyl man or auto also.
