    i bought these tyres off ebay, i have not measured the tread but it seems very low to me,

    i recived them this morning but im not happy about the inside edge of one of the, the tyre seems to have un-even wear, pics below....im not a moner but does this look ok to you guys as to me it looks like the tyre is nearly scrap?....advice please guys as im a bit upset about it









    i understand that they are part worn but the one looks worn out

    i think its bang out of order m8 ....thing is i need it to get them on the car....would you push for a part refund, thing is im not a messer but i thing that its a bit of a pi55 take sending me that...the othe one aint much better tbh

    The built in tyre wear indicators are at 3mm IIRC. Looks like you ain't got much more life in them. As for the uneven wear, I wouldn't like to comment as to the way forward - caveat emptor but depends on how the seller was describing.

    I thought that the wear indicators were at a depth of 1.6mm, but I might be wrong. If i'm right then theres no way theres 4mm of tread left.

    Sorry, have checked some other sites and the TWI's are set at 1.6mm. Was getting confused by most manufacturers recommending to replace when 3mm or less.

    i'd complain.
    the outside edge of the tyre is bald!.. i know being in the motor trade as that being F00ked!
    Am sure one of the guy's who are from the police.. minly traffic, could confirm, cos am sure you can get done if the outside edge is worn!!

    Get a tyre depth guage and measure them?

    They look like 2.5mm remaining to me, in which case is it worth paying for someone to fit and balance them?

    i have just been to a tyre sales place and he said that the outside edge is nealy shot....im going to complain as the seller is out of order selling a tyre thats not any good to man or beast
