get yourself one of these, I bought one the other day and it replaces the blanking plate near map lights took about 2 mins to fit

Aha, you've discovered that mod then. A very popular one with Vec owners and, as you say, very easy to do. Us Signum owners get them as standard!!

I don't know what you paid for yours, but anyone thinking of doing this mod - check the price with your dealer as I have a feeling (I may be wrong) that they're only about £6 or so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks Gary, I wasn't far off the mark then. That link that lost-sole posted was showing an auction by LMF where it was currently at £10.50!! No problem with LMF (good company), just thought it was more than you can get it for at a dealer - didn't want to see users paying more for something!!

another victim of vauxhalls 'oh... maybe we could actually charge people for this' philosopy. Mine has it as standard and also the illuminated vanity mirrors too. Im honestly shocked at how much vauxhall have dropped from the standard fit spec.

Ah if only the mod was easy for ecveryone lol. i still have to drop the headining and fit a plate to the roof to attach the holder to. very scrared. That could be a ' who wants to watch graeme make an **** of it' thing to do at billing. could provide some entertainment
