Possible purchase

Hi there,
In the market for an estate at the moment. I have found an 06 with 40k on the clock for £6600. I think its a good price (nice spec, very very clean with one previous old man owner) the only concern I have is that the head gasket has been replaced. It was done by the local Dealer at a cost of over £1000.
Would you touch it?

Hi m8, hope you dont mind me plugging my own sale, but
i have a 2007 1.9 sri nav xp estate for sale ( SEE CARS FOR SALE )
in silver with roof bars with 16k on the clock, its in very very
good condition, asking £9200 ovno.

Cant blame you for trying, I've got a limit of £7k and it needs to be dealer purchase. Cheers anyway.

You could buy an 07 for that price m8,shop around and you'll find a bargain,i've even seen 08 go for £7995,so take your time and buy the right one,its a buyers market afterall,hth.......

I think it's a no to the estate with the replaced head gasket. I'm going overseas for a few months and dont want to be leaving the miss's with what could be a troublesome car.
