i have a pre facelift in star silver...... wait for it........................

Mate were does it say that its star silver and its only for the wheel nut he might have taken a random picture

I know 2 colors are very similar

I think the colours have changed during the production of the facelift. The brochure that came with mine (08 model) lists "Silver Lightening" but not "Star Silver". I believe Star Silver was available for models before that but don't quote me! My last car was Star Silver but I couldn't tell the difference even when they were parked next to each other at the showroom! I was told the new one is "Silver Lightening". If you're wanting body colour parts it'll be best to ask him for the paint code before you buy and compare with yours.

the pic looks like star silver, i have a facelift silver lightening and its darker then star silver, more like a grey in certain light

was hoping the car in the listing would be star silver so the front end would be an easy swop without the hastle of getting it painted.im waiting for an email

Looks like star silver to me mate. Might be a slightly different shade but at worst you could blend the paint in?

lets hope he lets you have it cheap, you could put the saved cash in to some paint bobby

failing that buy it piece by peice and save it all up until you have the lot

VXR came in Star Silver, but they have now dropped it.

the vectra c was available in star silver upto the end of production,the insignia had star silver replaced by sovereign silver which does look the same as star silver 3 (the correct colour used on a vectra c)which funnily looked the same as star silver 2
