Onlt one word for it and it sounds like bullocks, even the spokesperson response is truly daft
one word.....jobsworth!!! lol
Me and the wife had the same thing in Sainsbury's on Saturday.
Young brace faced till girl asked the missus for ID as she was paying. We thought she was winding us up only to find she wasn't. And that's not the worse part. When she knew we were together, she wouldn't scan the bottle of wine until i had shown her my ID too!
'I have to see some ID from both of you as you are together. I can't sell it to one of you without seeing both ID's'.
This country has gone fluckin totally and utterly doo fluckin lally!
Snowman, you got your ears on?
i was in my uniform cs95 (camaflarge) buying some beer last week asked to produce i.d so i did however only had military i.d on me and the ***** wouldn't take it i had to go home pick up the YOUNGER pregnant mrs to buy me booze lol
lol cheers rich
a had same with my mrs, we did a weeks shopping had baby with us nappies etc, ONE BOTTLE OF WINE, asked to see id for both, i was paying with switch card (have to be 18 to have anyway) after a few choice words to to spotty oik serving who was no older than 18 shown him my licence, he said my mrs had to show too, had yet another go at him as i tried pointing out i was paying therefore purchasing it, and that the bloke next isle down should be id'd to as he had his preteen daughter with him.. did the same rules apply.
it annoys me the best i hear lot is "well the computer tells me to ask for date of birth" ive not got beyond polite at 26 it takes the pi55, a bit of common sense wouldnt go a miss, now i show them id let them run all through the till then walk off after informing them its an insult and ill buy elsewhere
