    Default Car lowerd?

Im not sure if the back of my car is lowerd or not?

I didnt even notice anything untill a friend of mine mentioned it. The back wheels seem to sit right into the arch nicely as if it had been lowerd where-as the front arches seem to sit a good 7-9 inchs higher than the wheel. When i bought the car it had a tow bar on it so must have been towing something, could this have made it lower?

When i had my astra before that was the same but i just thought it was how they came out the factory, slightly lower at the back than the front?

Is this how my car should be or not?

    Cheers Matt

Looks lowered, unless the springs have snapped/sagged.

the front arches are slightly higher any ways ..........but looking at your rear end(ooer missus) if it hasn,t been lowered then i would say your springs are knackered

The rears can sag if its used to carrying lots of weight, but TBH to me it looks like your fronts are too high. Are they aftermarket springs?

All the springs are standard as far as i know.

had the front wheels off at the weekend from caliper painting and the fronts looks/seemed ok but i dont know too much.

Will be having the rears off hopefully next weekend so i'll check the suspention, any tell tale signs to looks for?

Forgot to mention when i go over larger speed bumps my suspentions creaks, not sure weither its coming from the front or back but it definatly creaks, normally over the speed bumps that cover the whole road, not the smaller ones on either side of the road.

Front anti roll bar or drop links Maybe someone has fitted the wrong springs to the front and they are designed for a heavier engine, it deffo looks to high at the front and too low ar the back.

Found a set of GSi and VXR springs on here for sale, does anybody know if any of these will be ok for my 1.8 SRi, i know theres the weight to take into consideration and with mine only being a 1.8 i understand its lighter than the GSI and VXR.

    What do you guys think?

I think it would be pointless as it would raise the sar up as its lighter than the intended use
