Default How much power and why?

If you could pick from a list, how much power would you like in your Vectra

HAd a couple of volvo T5's and 250 bhp through the front wheels is plenty. Gone for 300 anymore than that would be insane for us mere mortals.

is with those last half-dozen options?! You'd break the chassis with 1000bhp. and where would you put the engine! lol

To answer the question, I'd be quite happy to see 300bhp in my Signum - and it's quite feasible as well as it happens. 350-400 would be fun too, but a handful with FWD. Any more than that and you're looking at RWD/AWD and serious engine transplants!

I'm sure someone on here can find a justifiable reason for 600+

EDIT: its strange though that FWD cars are getting more and more powerful, when not long ago 200 BHP was considered too much for FWD

And now there are a few modified and standard 300+ BHP FWD cars around... the New Focus RS is another example. Wonder when it will stop? ... and at what BHP

    Engine : 3200

1000+ but it would have to be converted to 4wd...if not then 500 through the front wheels

I suppose as they improve the suspension etc. it makes it able to manage more power, although I wouldn't fancy driving a 400bhp FWD car like the Vectra - especially on a damp/wet road!

200 is enough for me. Any more and it would be far too tempting to drive like my hair was on fire all the time and my licence is far too important for that!

Loads more torque would be nice though..... When I have got the readies, a remap is on the cards
