Water Pump 2.2

Hi All,
does anyone know how much it would cost to replace a water pump on a 2.2?
it is leaking like mad ;-(

and would it be an easy DIY job

If it's like the 2.0T, which it can't be too different from, it's not a huge job. Cost would depend on your dealer/garage labour rate. I can tell you what Vx list the job as taking if that helps.

Which 2.2 BTW? Direct or not?

Hi,
it's a non direct 2.2. it looks like it's driven from the balance chain, someone was saying that there is a special tool that means you can do it with out taking the chain covers off.
