Whilst my car is petrol. I was wondering how come every time I have to drag the pump hose out and hold the hose, my hands always smell of diesel afterwards, I haven,t even touched the diesel pump or hose.??? Strange "eh".

The Force moves in mysterious ways do hope it's with you....
Because diesel is a ******* of a liquid, and gets everywhere. Someone with a high vehicle fills up, turns round to put the pump back in the holder and diesel runs out of the nozzle everywhere. Usually over the petrol nozzle. Or they get it on their hands, then transfer it to the door handle if the shop.
The diesel smell is one of the many things I don't miss about having a diesel car. Even with nitrile gloves you'd end up stinking of the stuff.
