    Default Structured wheels?

    Hi

Could someone tell me the difference between 'structured' wheels and 'steel' wheels.

    Thanks

Structure wheels are 16" steel wheels with a plastic wheel trim on. They are supposedly meant to look like alloys.

I had them on my old car.

    Some Pics. here.

'Structure' wheels are steel wheels, but the difference between them and 'standard' steel wheels is that the wheel trim looks like a 5-spoke alloy and is held in place by the the wheel bolts rather than the wheel rim itself. A good idea IMO, and on the new Insignia they are 17" rather than 16" with the odd tyre size 225/55/17.

Yes that is correct except the wheel trim is not held on by the wheel bolts on the vectra. You can still pull it of as normal. Unless you look closely you would never know it didn't have alloys with structure wheels...
