Does anyone know do all Vectras, with the 1.9 CDTI 150, have diesel particulate filters?
I have the SRI estate which has but would be interested to know if other models have not!

My 56 plate is an auto and it has the DPF
Dunacn, bear with me you'll find this interesting! After fixing the inlet mainifold and overhauling the egr the car ran ok for a day, then the egr started playing up. i gave in and ordered a new one. 2 miles after picking it up the car ground to a halt with white soke under the bonnet. The egr was red hot and was obviously stuck open. i fixed it at the road side. When i started the car there was a hissing noise. I thought what NOW?? Turbo pipe?? But no the exhaust had blown apart after the flexible joint as it enters the DPF. Stripped down the DPF was found to be completely clogged. I checked to see where i could get one.....only vauxhall £1100.00 plus just for the part. My local garage who also does MOTs knocked its stuffing out!! The car now goes like a bomb. it picks up from low revs better than it did when new (from about 1400rpm) and is faster everywere. the only problem is the car thinks there is a problem with the DPF and puts the spanner light on. It does not go into limp mode thankfully) i just need to fool the car into thinking it's OK or hasn't got one! My local garage is confident they can fool the engine management ito thinking its working. It has two Vaccum? pipes one to the front of the DPF and one to the rear and an electronic sensor. if i can sort it it could save a lot of us some pennies in the long run!
For the Vectra C models available here in Norway, the DPF came as standard on all diesel-engines from 2007 models. Mine (2006) had it as an option.
