    Default The vecs replacement

A focus 1.8 tdci titanium in chill metallic .

the sony stereo rocks , amzing amounts of bass for somthing that dosent have a sub ! lacks thoughtfull features of the vec and feels les of a car than the vec as it costs roughly the same at 19k and im 35bhp down and missing a gear !

but to drive its in a totaly different league one the vectra could only dream of !

love the dials so crisp and clear

I never liked the plastics around the stereo's in the older Focuses. Paint always seemed the scrape or chip off too easily with me in them

Right about the stereo's in them though. Awesome sound for standard kit

And on top of that, they handle like a go-kart, even the estates

Nice motor, not for me tho. Glad to see ford have ditched the green dash lights etc, Used to hate them in the fords I had

thanks for the comments chaps , i know it wont find favour as it has a ford badge , but for a daily hack its going to be a hard one to follow , if only the vectra drove this well , it even has adjustable steering , sport comfort and standard .

and as much as i slated it i still miss the vectras chipped smack in the back of the head power delivery and build quaility.

I have had a mk 1 focus which was brilliant and a mark 2 which i traded for my Vectra after 3 months.
They handle better than the Vectra but that's about it.
Bid quality and paint finish doesn't come close to Vauxhall!!!

If they are aloys make sure you keep them clean and protected as my wifes ex Focus ST which she had from new had 3 Refurbs in just over 3 years because of corrosion and Ford didnt give a damm

The dashboard lights are excellent. In general I prefer the Ford dials and lights to VX which have always been a bit boring apart from the digital diplay I had in my old Astra.

    Nice motor.
