Default Passenger seat not moving STUCK !

Hi, wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Its stuck, pushed all the way back and will not move forward. Checked for item stuck in the runner, checked the handle cable, looks okay. Any ideas?

Do I need to remove the seat to fix, is it possible to break the seat runner?

My passenger seat doesnt move also - although the handle to move it has no resistance at all - which makes me wonder if the cable has snapped - is this possible? and if so - is it an easy fix? (apart from taking the seat out of course)

Your cable will have popped out of the handle mate, just like a bike cable. It just pops back in.

i don't know if it can be fixed with seats still on, but removing the seat takes about 5 minutes! you have just 2 T50 screws, and once you unscrew them you simply take the seat out..

if i were you i would take it out and fix that cable

Same with mine, cable popped out. I used a tie wrap to make sure it didn't come out again as it kept re-occuring!!

Seems common, mine has popped out a couple of times. Can fix this quite easily without removing the seat

I have same problem. Can someone tell me how you pop it back in? I've tried and it just seems to come out again.

Can you order a new cable from somewhere?

    Thanks
