Default Spent the afternoon spoodling the car

Thought that after a lazy morning having a lie-in, I'd give the car a bit of a spoodle. I finally managed to fit the rear mudflaps that I had not been able to get near due to weather and lack of enthusiasm. Still not sure but I think I may need some Ripspeed black plastic type over the top of these as and when I get the new alloys.

Gave it a good jetwash off, washed with Autoglym shampoo and conditioner [with jojoba ] and then jetwashed off again. A quick spray over with Meg's quick detailer whilst wet and left on for about 10-15 mins then another jetwash off followed by a dry good off. Mer plastic detailer to the sills and splitters [this stuff is just brilliant for restoring colour and finish to tired looking plastics - not that mine needs it but by Gawd its good!], some tyre dressing and Fanny's your Aunt!

Gotta say, the veccie estate is one good looking car. But then I'm biased aren't I?

Tomorrow the interior gets the treatment: full clean and vac, leather feed, and a good polish

Looking good, if you have your side skirts, flaps and plastic trims painted the same colour that would look trick

    Hi Jon

I may just go down that route next but I have a lot to do on the car and it costs a bleedin' fortune! Looking to try and get that Euro look in due course. Next big step is the alloys, springs and tints..... Or maybe the Angel Eyes. Blimey! ££££

Know any good Gas stations to knock over??

    Blimey!!!

My Car is My Lover: Strangelove meets two men from America who love their wagons. I do not know how this love manifests itself, I do not know how they copulate with their cars, and I don't if they're for real. All I do know is that, for sheer stupid curiosity, I might just watch this. If only to find out which hole these men stick things into.
Anyway, we'll find out more about these two sickos fellows, and then they will drive to California to a car show and meet for the very first time.
Orgy? Car swapping? Car keys in a dish on the coffee table? Do I really want to find out?
Not me! I like a well turned wheelarch as much as the next man, but that's just downright kinky! [well at least it is the first time! ]

Dunc, you have FAR too much time on your hands!
