Default VX dealership excuse of the year?

Took my car back to the dealership for the fourth time this month to try and source and resolve an annoying noise and vibration

"Yes, we believe we have found it by rebalancing the front wheel bearings"
I asked, were they sure it was the wheel bearings and not the wheel balancing, to which they checked and confirmed the service document reads "Rebalanced both front wheel bearings"

Now is it just me or is that confusion or truth?

After all that, the vibration and noise is still present!

    hi
i thought the bearings are a unit
if these are causing vibration then the unit needs to be replaced.
i didn't think you can balance the bearings

While your on about the dealers, my wifes Corsa D has had a really annoying squeel coming from under the bonnet and when I had a look I thought it was coming from the alternator so as its under warranty we booked it in.
Its first visit was last friday and they said it was the tension pulley and fan belt and all was coverd by the warranty . We got a call about 5.00pm on the day to say it was fixed and to collect it. When we got there my wife started the car up and the noise started straight away so we had a very heated debate to the service muppet and it was booked in for Monday just gone.
Monday came and in went the car and at 3.00pm we got a call to say that they could not find the problem so I shouted in the background that it was the alternator and so they said they would have another look. half hour later they phoned back to say that the car needed a new alternator ( muppets ) and they had to order it for the next day which is now all fitted and running sweet. If I had not of said that it was the alternator the car would still be squeeling, and Im not a Vauxhall technician only self taught.

The vibration wasn't present prior to replacement
Is it possible that they have fitted wheel bearings for the standard suspension, rather than the sports / 3.0 V6 CDTI version?!?!

IIRC I thought they were all the same but after a few beers I might be wrong?
