    what is the warmest setting on a fridge? 1 or 9? what do you set yours at?

    1 would be the warmest 9 very cold for the food. Ours set at about 2-3.

    just out for a most random thread altho i had a mega large chunk of ice in fridge and it was at 7 dont know how but was just wondering what yours was set at i turned it down after gettin rid of ice

    How old is it? If it's not a frost free one .... going to take a guess that it isn't then that's what you get over time, a nice build up of ice.

    I've a frost free A rated fridge freezer and the dial goes up to 5 but mines only on 0.5 as it's so efficient

    A thermometer is always useful, both for the fridge and freezer. Less than £5 at Iceland. That way you can chill/freeze to the right temperatures and not end up "over" chilling/freezing, thereby saving energy = £ssssss.
