    Default Mat Puzzle

Please accept my apologies if this quiestion has already been asked and answered elsewhere. I recently visited my local dealer and purchased a set of mats ( front and rear ) for my vectra estate. Fronts are perfect but the rears were a bit small so I returned them and while I was chatting to the parts guy another owner said that what I really needed was a set of signum rears. The parts guy happily exchanged the originals and off I when. I didn't get a chance to try them at the dealers as I was in a bit of a rush. My problem is that the new signum set are still a bit short and don't seem to be the perfect fit I was hoping for. Has anyone managed to
track down a set of rears that are just right for the estate?....oh I suppose I should mention that its rubbers and not velours.

Hi there. I looked into this very subject a last week & yes there is a set of specific estate velour foot mats. As you now know, the standard Vectra & Signum rear mats are too short. However the correct set fit perfectly & even have a rather cool 'Vectra Estate' logo stitched into the drivers one.

My search started when I visited the Car Parts Connexion website & from the replies I got (approx 7/8 dealers, all quoting the standard RRP of approx £40 plus delivery) the cheapest and nearest dealer to hold stock was Martin Rumble in Hinckley, Leics. They are currently offering 15% off all Parts stock until end of Jan 09 as they're relocating so need to shift stock.

Can't recall exact price, as I bought front & rear mudguards too, but I'm sure they were approx £35 for the full set.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers

    Andy
