2.0T 100 Editions

I was originally on the hunt for a 3.0 diesel but while searching i found a nice looking low mileage 100 Edition.

Would like to know peoples thoughts on 2.0T over 3.0 CDTi?

What sort of mileage you likely to do per year? Given the cost of diesel and the fact that the 3.0 doesn't get great mpg, a 2.0T may be better/cheaper to run.

2.0T is a great engine, no known major issues have cropped up and it's very tuneable if that was something you were looking at. 3.0 is fairly reliable too, but if anything goes wrong - fuel pumps etc - it's ££££££. Expensive parts on those engines.

Depends what you want out of it and use/mileage etc.

10k mileage average really mate, which is just work n seeing the mrs. I have got a heavy foot so like things with some poke.

get the 2.0T and a BSR map then(about £500) ppl have got 220bhp with the stage one on their 100 EDS

In that case I'd say 2.0T then. 3.0CDTi is going to be expensive for that mileage.

i have a 2.0t edition 100 mate and love it really thinking of doing the bsr remap

unless you do more than about 20k miles a year, you won't see any benefit from the diesel engine. The 2.0T is popular for a reason
