Bad luck m8 - make sure you get a top physio to sort your back (and make sure the insurance covers it 'until finished'). A friend of mine had a similar thing, though she was driving her trusty Citroen AX at the time. The other party's insurance paid for the treatments, but baulked after 6 weeks because they hadn't authorised it above a certain value. Luckily both the physio and her GP managed to make a case for it to continue, so she's well on the mend.

Tot up everything, including loss of earnings and that N96 ( ) you had, then find a decent brief and make their costs stick on the other party too - often the 'insurance-provided' lawyers only look out for the insurance company.

Cocodamol and Ibuprofen work well together! Hope you are fixed up soon.

Sorry - just had to edit that! When you said "women eh? i have never had a accident or near 1 ever in 20 year driving", I read it as "women: 'eh i have never had a accident or near 1 ever in 20 year driving' " I thought it was you quoting her... was going to say she'd probably caused hundreds though - a bit like my gran...

Yeah, but your back, m8 - it's got to be sorted properly. I blew a lumbar disc nearly a decade ago in a similar thing, got shunted onto the NHS for minimal treatment and still get muscle probs to this day from the nerve damage. Claim for that at least!

And IIRC you had the top TomTom, the 940 wasn't it? Shame it was nicked, er misplaced, by the recovery driver... and that iPhone 3G too

Stiletto heels maybe? Even if not leather soles, ladies shoes are seldom fitted with Commando pattern grips. In a Vec, for example, the brake pedal is a lot higher than the 'loud' one, so it's still possible to be braking, slip sideways and land on the throttle.

Or maybe she needs to look forwards instead of sideways when entering a roundabout? Not try to make that stupidly small gap she's seen before you've moved off.
