    Question Updating HeadUnit + Display

    Hi.
I have a Vectra c - SXi 52 Plate which came with a factory fitted SatNav system with the larger screen in the dash (i don't know the model numbers for the 2 types of screens - its not the thin one with just clock on.)

I want to have a CD system that plays DVDs/MP3s etc, but I also want to have the screen in the same place where the factory fitted on is now.

Is there an updated headunit with a colour screen that is compatible with aftermarket headunits? I've seen the 2005 Vectra with a colour screen.

If I can't change the factory screen to a compatible colour one, does anyone know where to get a screen small enough to fit in the dash space so its nearly flush with dash? I've seen Pauls SRI Turbo with TFT on dash (very nice) but wanted one a bit smaller, so i can take out the factory screen and run all wire through that space, and have it nearly flush with dash.

I'm keeping the sat nav in attic, so don't need it tech2'.

If I can't do all that, I quite fancy the double DIN HeadUnit with full front touchable TFT. Is there any double DIN facias out there? Only seen the single ones with storage space.

    Thanks.
    Danny

Kenwood do a double din touch screen headunit , but Alpine make a box called vehicle hub , it connects into your original system and you can then add dvd navi cd changer mp3 etc etc ,

    Thanks for your replies.

Is there any way that I can connect up the NCDC2013 Sat Nav System up to an aftermarket monitor?

My plan is to remove the mono display, and a 5.6" screen will fit perfectly in the gap. I want to leave the sat nav system in as it looks nice in the centre column and deters carthieves, but I also want to connect a DVD player to the monitor, and store under drivers seat, so I can switch between displays.

    Thanks
