the engine is 2.2, the power is fine and the idle is normal,

its just the whistle noise coming from the right side behind the wheel that where I can hear the whistle, Ive check the engine whilst its running and its fine, no noise but the only whistle noise is just possible behind the wheel,

Yeah, actually, same here, it happens when the engine is cold, mostly on higher revs or when the weather is damp.

If its like a whistle, could it be the flex on your exhaust? I had a whistle on my ex-CDTI and it did my head in. Ended up replacing the flex and it was fine!

Hi, I have open the bonnet whilst the engine is running, its sound very normal,

The noise was actually coming from the wheel whilst its park and running, its sound whistling continues but when I turn the steering wheel, the noise when sound like whines, dull whistling something like that,

what do you think its cause? take it to the local garage then?
