ooh that is a tricky one. would guess its a very big jobbie, complete engine, loom, fuel tank/pump, plus lots of other stuff i cant even think of. 90k is nothing though mate, my dti albeit on the 'b' is over 134k and going strong.
Its only just run in at that mileage!!
Have known these to do a 100k more than that at least!!
90k from that lump really is sod all m8
feel a bit better now lol, dont get me wrong this engine is still sweet but as ive never had a diesel so not used to this run past 100k, just worried things start going badly wrong at this mileage
tbh thought tank and loom would need changing, wasnt sure if it was a case of just engine loom on a plug, tank and engine
Not to mention the ECU and then getting the CANbus system to make sense of it all
so it is a BIG job was hoping it would be mainly plug and play with in reason, though vx were good at leaving wires for everything, maybe a rebuilt 22.dti would be a cheaper/easier option
Mines on 150k mate and its just worn in lol
I know a taxi driver with one of these and his has done 185K with very little problem. Oil and filters seems to be the key
