Need me a diesel pump!!!

i seriously need some help here

.just took my vec 1.9 120 8v for a rad repair and to investigate a prety bad diesel smell,only to find out that not only does it need a new rad, which is £130, but that i need a whle new diesel pump which i am told is going to set me back a further £500!! This is seriously not good as i simply cant afford it..not a chance in hell!! If anyone could help me i would be there best friend forever lol. Cheers

I thought the new cdti pumps were not married to ecu so you could fit a 2nd hand pump if you wanted
Theres one here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Diesel-High-Pr...3A1|240%3A1318 in case you can i think the older dti pumps are married to ecu and need tech2 out of car i think
Check the part numbers first tho
