Stereo Wanted - Changing 2005 VDO

Hi All,

I want to change my current stereo '2005 VDO'.

Can anyone suggest a good alternative? I would like MP3 playablity and a replacement Vx unit for look of dash etc. Is there any units i can do a direct replacement with and has anyone got one for sale? Would eant display and wheel buttons to work too.

I was thinking of a CD30 MP3 but have looked on the net/ebay but it said on one listing the CD30 MP3 is for 2004+ and mine is only a 2002 car.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a vx mp3 unit that will fit your car as they only came out in the full canbus models. Your best bet would be a facia kit and an aftermarket HU which will still give it a good look.

Go double din, there are some Kenwood units with mp3 and usb connectivity that match the dash colour - thats the avenue that I am going down shortly.
