Default Quick question for the tech peeps

Right, just noticed on our car today - when opening the driver door, the passenger door open symbol shows on the dash and vice versa. wtf? We don't use the car much at all, and i never really look at the door open display so only realised today.

Is this display related to the new CIM or BCM that we had fitted at the dealers last week?

Im pretty sure it was fine beforehand

Yeah, but if i open the front driver side door, the display shows the front passenger door open, and if i open the front passengers door, the display shows the front driver side door open.

If i open the rear doors independently, the correct side door is shown open on the display in the dash..

Sorry i should of explained better in first post

No, he's meaning that the door that is shown open on the instrument display is opposite to what door is actually opened in relation to the front doors.

Given that you've had a new CIM and that is linked into the instruments, I'd say they've not programmed it for a RHD car.

What D says, maybe a return to them and fix would be in order.
