    "desiel filtration system needed cleaning"

Does that just not mean that the fuel filter needs emptied of water? Redlining it in 2nd 'til you see a puff of smoke isn't what I'd think is normal practice! Puff of smoke is likely to be something going pop!

EDIT: Just realised that you'll have a DPF on yours?, so does it mean that then?, and that it just needs a regen cycle to be performed.

DPF should regenerate and burn off all the soot particules it collects instead of pushing em out the exhaust... To do the reburn revs need to be above 3k for about 15mins or so. I could throw the tech2 in the car tomorrow and come down and force a regen for u if you like.

Surely the engine would do a regen without a Tec 2 commanded one?

I really can't see that the glow plug light flashing would mean that forced regen is required?

Diesle filtration would be the water in fuel separator / filter needs draining, ???

Ste, i recall somewhere about flashing glowplugs.. cant remember if its water in the diesel filter or DPF needs a regen. Either way i can force a regen to save having to run the car out on the road. But i do think your more than likely right about the fuel filter.
