Am i right in thinking that the best and cheapest place to get the above from is the stealers?
I'm sure i've seen this mentioned on here before.
Also the same place for ARB bushes?
cheers

Think my rears need doing, so any help would be appreciated by me too!
You can get front and back brake kits from the dealers for around £65 + VAT (£45 odd + VAT if you have Trade Club access). That's for discs and pads. Pads are what are called aftermarket ones so not quite as good as the OEM ones (what came on the car) - but you can buy those additionally and still have got it all for a decent price. If your driving is fairly average then the aftermarket ones will be fine. If it's more spirited/got any added power then you may want to consider the OEM ones.
i'm sure it's been discussed here many times, but is it basically pretty simple to do the rear discs/pads? [my discs have a bit of a lip on them, so i can see they won't last forever]. do the caliper bolts come out relatively easily? do you need a special tool to wind the pistons back in?
What about for a GSi? I think my fronts need attention. Any ideas?
Paul
thanks Duncan.
I always use Apec pads, I get them from the motorfactors down the road. They're normally £20 a set. That's £40 for back and front.
When I need discs I use QH ones from the same place, they're normally around £40 as well.
What about Mintex discs & pads?
I remember someone recommending them to me a while back.
I have ferodo premier pads on the front at the moment, they seem a decent pad, and lasting quite well.
I've also got ferodo ones for the rear to go on when the time comes (which could be soon).
