    Default Help me Stealer Jargon

Hi people, Having a right problem with my car at the moment its a 1.9cdti 120 manufactured 04/06 so as far as im concerned still under manufacturers warranty. I've been experiencing a knocking noise from the rear passenger wheel and also a whining noise (like a worn bearing) but can not tell where this noise comes from.
So thats the problems so booked it into my local vauxhall stealer for a lookin at, When i went to collect it he told me the rear shock was knackered and would need replacing but both rear shocks would be replaced else the new one would be to strong, I said ok do it then, he said that will be £361 please,
I said F**king Hell thought it was under warranty he then tells me shock absorber are only covered for 35000 miles and i have done 53000, he also says they believe the whining noise is just road noise caused by the fact i have 1 tyre made by a different manufacturer!! WHAT!!

Anyone got any advice dont really want to spend this money i thought i had 3 year 60000 mile warranty.
What are my options, how much is a full suspension kit?

    Cheers Ladys and Gents

Tyre noise is entirely possible .
As for shocks cant see how he is charging you £361 to change two shock,s .Two replacement bilsten b4 shock,s delivered will cost you 101.99 from lmf , one of our approved traders and will take about twenty minutes each to change providing you have the tools if not ask on here someone near you will help
