Santa Pod... Prices up and now takes passengers

Got an invite to Santa Pod today on a 'Run What Ya Brung' event.

Had a great day but just to let people know that its now £25 to run your car on the Strip, instead of £20 (last years price)

Also, was talking with the girls and they were telling me that Santa Pod are adding a new feature which enables drivers to carry one passenger.

You will have to pay a little bit more, but it will cover you for insurance etc. Also, they may allow you to 'sell' the passenger seat to people who may want a ride in your car up the strip ??!! So if your car is a bit special... you may make some money - lol

The addition of a passenger will induce more weight and thus make the car slightly slower though.

Hmmm... The weight of an average person, say 75kg, on top of thw weight if a car that weighs well over a ton? Can't see it making much difference TBH
