experiencing a wee problen with my 150 cdti when you pull away at junctions etc the car pulls very slowly and then all of a sudden it comes on boost and takes off bit unnerving! has anyone else come accross this prob

Sounds like normal turbo lag to me mate.

It's just normal Turbo spin up. Bit different to lag,but gives the same effect. One of those things you just have to live with 'fraid.

dont think its lag cos when you accelerate nothing happens then all of a sudden it pulls away,also seems to be down on power,its under warranty so might get it looked at,dont want ma baby runnin rough!

If the revs are at say 1500 rpm, and the car is sluggishish, and then at 2k the thing takes off, then they all do that, including mine, and so did my Golf GTTdi. If this is the case then its deffo lag, waiting for the turbo to come on boost and build up compression in the cylinders. If its doing this past 2k then i would suggest a visit to the dealers.
