Juddering wipers.. Who's have you got fitted?? VX's own brew have never juddered for me..Some of the aftermarket one's judder like a bi#ch..

Squeaky brakes are more common now they are asbestos free..My rears grind.. Squealing when braking can be stopped/lessened by putting copper grease on the back of the pads and cleaning the pad carriers to remove the accumulated brakedust buildup.

Get some vinegar or commercial window cleaner, the clear stuff, and run a doused cloth along all the blades, should clear it up for you.

V/X blades do seem fine, the cleaning trick is ment to work.

Bosch wiper Blades are fitted at factory on Uk build Models, Valeo fitted on European Build Models.

Brakes tend to give a grinding noise when cold(normal on all asbestos free brakes) usually dissapears when brakes reach operating temperature.

My 53 plate had Bosch blades as original - they lasted 2 years before starting to smear, no judder though.

The replacement blades from Vauxhall are now GM branded, parts guy told me that Bosch blades were too expensive hence the switch. The GM ones are good, esp at £19 a pair - cheaper than Bosch from Halfords
