    Default Heated Seats Buttons

    I am thinking of fitting these on my car as i have already fitted the T/C,sports and parking sensor buttons,does anyone know if these buttons light up once fitted.I am fitting them on my 02 dti elegance model.

    if the plugs are there does that mean they will light up although they won`t work(ie heat the seats)?

    No you need the seat pads to make the circuit it is the only way they light up unless you modify the wiring loom.

    well i wanted these just to fill the dash and light up tbh, i dont want to bother with the heated seats as i would never use them....how could i make them light up then?...

    You will need to find out which pin on the back of the switch controls the light, and the earth. Just run a wire from the light wire on the next switch along and the earth to earth, cant see having an extra bulb in that circuit wouls cause any problems.

    well im not gonna bother for now then, i will bide my time and keep having a look in the scrapers for the pads/ switches

    Im gonna activate the lights on all my spare buttons.. will look lots better then
