    Default Pedigree dogs becoming stupid

A few people would agree with that one

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...ot-brains.html

We had a flat coat "retriever" who looked beautiful but was as dim as a toc-h lamp. On the other hand, our mixed breed dogs (see avatar) are pretty bright, in a dim doggy sort of way.

Anyone on here got a bright or dim dog??

Know the feeling abouth wrapped around the fingers!!

We have a 5 year old Flat coat Retreiver, he seems to be pretty intelligent, seems to have a very active brain and not just hyper. The in laws hada golden retreiver and said ours was far more inntelligent than she was.

Sometimes think i am the thick one
