PI Springs 30mm

I take it i can use standard shocks with these springs until i get round to ordering shocks?

n/s/f standard spring has snapped so convinced her i need to get 4

All the ones 40mm+ say shortened shocks are required, but will 30mm be ok for the mean time with normal shocks?

If so, when i can afford the shocks what ones will be best? Don't want overly harsh ride, hence not lowering it to far.

i just replaced my spring as i didnt want to compramise the ride and i lowerd it by 40 mm

lowered mine 40-45mm on standard sri shocks, works a treat for me.

forgot to mention mines an LS so have the bog standard suspension setup

ah you can't lower it 40mm then, should be ok with 30 I would've thought.

hmm, came across bilstein b4s + h&r 40mm spring kit for £361, shipping will probably bring that to over 400 from france, they do it with eibach 30mm springs for €15 more

it comes down to what you wanna spend but sure it would look good.

I'm pretty sure the garage who is going to look at the broken spring will say the shocks need replacing

well you may as well bite the bullet and get what you want! Just tell SWMBO there was n't much differnce in the price.
