    Default Fuel Pump Location

Hi, just want to check. Is the fuel pump on the Signum 2.2dti located within the fuel tank?

Do you mean the high pressure pump? If so, then it is on the engine, just follow the injector pipes all the way down.

Not sure, I started a post on Friday describing a problem I was having. (Don't know how to add a link to the original post or I would). I have tried a few of the suggestion that the guys posted but no joy, someone has suggested that the fuel cold be draining back to the tank and therefore being starved after initial starting. So I was just curious to the location of the location.
In case you do not wish to read my previous post I will give a brief recap of the problem.
When I leave the car sitting for more than 9 hours without starting it i.e. overnight. When I start the car in the morning it will fire first time but after a very short time it stalls, I then have to wind it over and over and over for a while to get fuel back into it. After the second, sometimes third, attempt it will fire and run perfectly until another long break.
This is why someone thinks that it could be the fuel draining away from the engine.

Sounds like leak off pipes leaking air to me. This is a common problem. These are the small rubber pipes and T connectors that drain fuel from the injectors that hasn't been used for 'squirting'. They leak and cause a lack of fuel to the pump, shortly after initial start - resulting in stall.

I dare bet it is worse if you park 'nose up'

Thankfully I live on level ground. Thanks Ste for the advice, I'll try these connections.
